Yesterday, I went into GUESS to try on some outfits (for other purposes) and decided to make it a blogging opportunity! One of the sales associates was kind enough to take pictures of some of the outfits I tried on, thank you again!

First, I tried on a blush pink shirt and light wash jeans. The shirt is super soft and has very nice scoop back. It’s casual, but can be dressed up with some accessories and is a basic wardrobe essential. The jeans are so comfortable! They are a bit stretchy and fit great on my hips. They’re specially designed for a curvy figure, which definitely improves the fit.

Next, a pair of high-waisted shorts and a strapless top. The shorts are very nice, with a little bit of country chic patchwork in blue and white on the left leg. They are perfect for spring and summer and can be worn with pretty much everything. The top is nice, but I was hoping it was a little more figure hugging. The next size down is too small for my chest and the one I have on is a little baggy in the front. But I think the pattern is super cute and very summery!

After I tried on another pair of light wash jeans and a pretty pink top! The jeans have patchwork very similar to that on the high-waisted shorts and a few rips. I was drawn to these because I don’t currently have any jeans with rips, but I really like the way they look! My first impression was that they were a bit tight, but I was assured they would stretch out. This top is one of my favourite things I tried on. I love the elastic at the waist that shows off my figure and the detailed coral pink stitching underneath and on the sleeves. It is comfortable and very light-weight, it’s definitely on my want list!

The next outfit is a form fitting pencil skirt and a jean shirt. This skirt is super sexy, it made my butt look really good! It is a dark army green colour with some zipper detailing (which my hands are unfortunately covering). This jean shirt is another basic that can be worn many ways, but paired with this skirt makes it slightly more chic. It is also very comfortable and I really like the blue wash it has.

Next, I tried on a little black dress and a jean jacket. The dress was so flowy and dreamy, I just wanted to spin in circles! Thin spaghetti straps and ruffles along the neckline make this dress even girlier. Now this jean jacket, oh my goodness this jean jacket. I love it! It is the perfect length and the sleeves fit so nicely on my arms. I can think of 101 outfits I could wear with it, the options never end! (The second item on my want list for sure!)

I loved it so much that I wore it with a very nice jumper, too! This jumper is so casual chic and versatile as well. You can wear it casual (like I did) or pair it with some high heels and sparkly accessories. And of course, everyone loves pockets!

So there you have it! My favourite outfits of the night. I had a really great experience in the store, the ladies were so helpful and gave me so many compliments. I was even told that if I were 18 they would have hired me on the spot – Darn!
Thanks so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it!
